SIGEVO Executive Board Statement
The ACM SIGEVO Executive Board stands with the people of Ukraine and supports their democratically elected Government and territorial sovereignty. We join institutions and leaders from across the world in condemning in the strongest possible terms the unjustified attack by Russia on Ukraine and the violation of international law. As scientists, we are also saddened by the oppression of free speech in Russia and highly respect the courage of all Russians who speak up against the war and call for peace. Our thoughts and hopes are with everybody affected by this crisis.
In support of our colleagues in Ukraine, GECCO will waive all registration fees for researchers from Ukrainian institutions.
